4Story Open Beta

4Story is a free massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) developed by Zemi Interactive, a Korean MMO developer and publisher. 4Story is still in Open Beta and are encouraging new/old players to participate in improving the quality of the game. The game client is a free download, and there is no monthly subscription fee. Like most free to play MMORPG, 4Story uses Cash Shop.

Story

The world of Iveria, 4Story's fantasy world, is composed with three Kingdoms with very different characteristic and history.

The 3 Kingdoms are:

Nation of Mysterious Magics, Craxion
Nation of Bravery Soldiers, DeFugel
Nation of Strong Troops, Broa

4Story has a good storyline and the gameplay is promising. In game events happen from time to time which is good to hear for new players and especially for players who already reached the end game. This removes much of the boredom that most MMORPGs suffer now a days.

Races

You guessed it, 4Story has 3 Races. They are Humans, Werebeasts and Fairy. Each has their own difference other than physical appearance of course.

Classes

You can choose from either a Warrior, Asassin, Archer, Wizard, Priest or Summoner. I'm sure you are familiar with how these classes work. All of them are accessible to all of the Races. However, each race has their own advantage of each class as well as disadvantages like a Werebeast is the best race for Warriors but the worst race for a Wizard because of the lack of Intelligence stat drawback.

One more thing that is quite unique on 4Story is that, all classes have their own weaknesses. The game is quite balanced when it comes to the implementation of these strengths and weakness.

Movement

Movement is very crucial for a lot of players especially for player's who likes fast movement and basically wants more than just click and move kind of gameplay. Good news because 4Story uses the same WASD concept. You can strafe left or right using Q and E.

Graphics

4Story has rich graphics. Iveria has beautifully rendered sceneries. The characters are varied and their designs are excellent.

War on Iveria

This is the most exciting and unique feature of 4Story. It has a different and innovative Player versus Player feature. It's basically what you would expect and imagine in a war, Territories.

Each Kingdom has their own territory and players will fight to take that part of the land. The lands or villages are guarded by NPC's but are of course, not a match to high level well equipped and skilled players.

Aion Open Beta Information - Aion Release Date

This is the latest MMORPG created by NCsoft Seoul development studios. It already has a lot of hype all around the Internet. This PC game created thousands of followers even from as early as 2006 and still gaining (I'm one of them actually). The Aion Release date in the NA and UK in mid 2009, that's September 22, 2009 in NA and September 25, 2009 in the UK. Aion has been Online in South Korea since November 25, 2008. The game already gathered over a million and more players in just the beta stage.

Players have been waiting patiently for the official Aion release. In order to enter the game on its Beta Stage, you will have to pre-order. Pre-ordering Aion will give you lots of benefits.

Some of the benefits you will get is being able to log-in 2 days before the official date of release. It's a headstart for those who are very eager to try out the game and also for people who want's to get ahead of everyone else.

However, you will also have to pay a monthly fee or buy game time cards in order to keep playing in the Aion Open Beta.

Currently, NA/UK players are able to play the open beta stage. However, be aware that accounts will be disabled until the next Beta, which is Beta 7.

Closed Beta Event #5 - July 31-August 3

Closed Beta Event #6 - August 14-August 17

The version that North America and Europe game will be launching is 1.5. Currently, it is on 1.2.
